ANTISKEPTIC / HORSELL COMMON DOUBLE REUNION – SUN 10 APR
After 20 years of legendary punk, rock, and indie shows, The Arthouse in North Melbourne is about to close forever. So we’re delighted to be heading over the border to perform at the sold-out Antiskeptic / Horsell Common double reunion being held there this weekend! Make sure you get down to at least one of the Last Drinks shows at The Arty, and look forward to celebrating good times with friends on Sunday! Mere Theory hit the stage at 8pm.

Nige and Chris are performing a Mere Theory acoustic set in support of Secrets In Scale’s. The Secret Of Monkey Island national tour, which plays the Adelaide UniBar on Friday 29 April. The all-star starting lineup includes Secrets In Scale, Move To Strike, Grenadiers, Mere Theory (acoustic) and Day On Fire. Tickets are only $12, and it’s an ALL-AGES event. Nice.

FLOATING ME – SAT 7 MAY
Mere Theory are pleased to be supporting prog-rock supergroup Floating Me on the Adelaide leg of their national album tour, which hits Jive on Saturday 7 May. We’ll be playing alongside Melbourne’s Sleep Parade, and Adelaide’s own Weightless. Floating Me features members of Karnivool, COG and Scary Mother, and their self-titled debut album is released April 15.

BREAK THROUGH MUSIC VIDEO

Mere Theory and Urtext Film Productions are proud to announce the release of theĀ first music video from Mere Theory’s upcoming sophomore album ‘Walking In Storms’.

Break Through was shot at the Adelaide Roller Derby 2010 Grand Final. The action-fuelled video showcases the determination and commitment of 2010 season finalists Wild Hearses and Road Train Rollers as they battle Jam after Jam for the ultimate prize. Filmed by Matthew Salleh and Mal Ludgate ACS, the video features a unique combination of high-speed cameras and techniques to capture the action up to 60 times slower than real-time.

FUSE FESTIVAL SHOWCASE

Mere Theory are playing a special FUSE Festival Showcase at Enigma Bar (173 Hindley Street, Adelaide) on Wednesday 16 February. We’ll be sharing the stage with eight other acts, including Tracer and. Doors open at 8pm and we’ll be on stage at 10.30pm. Tickets only $8 at the door (free entry for FUSE delegates).
